Midwife May Face Criminal Charges in N Ireland

Northern Ireland’s leading pro-life group has made a formal complaint to the police about a senior midwife’s involvement in illegal abortions.

Precious Life has asked the PSNI to launch an investigation into Breda Hughes’ public admission of taking part in illegal abortions in Northern Ireland. Ms Hughes’ admission of “criminal acts” appeared in an article published by The Sunday Times in 2004. As secretary of the Northern Ireland branch of the Royal College of Midwives, Breda Hughes was also involved in the drafting of new guidelines on abortion issued by the Department of Health, Social Services and Public Safety (DHSSPS) in January.

Criminal Charges dropped aginst parents who gagged and tied their daughter and tried to force her to abort her child.

A couple who, unbeliveably, tied up their 19 year old daughter with ropes when she was six months pregnant and tried to drive her to an abortion clinic will not have to face court. The victim, who now has a lovely son, is understandable angry at the decision not to proceed with a prosecution.

When telling her story to Good Morning America the young woman stated:
“I tried to leave the house and that’s pretty much where the physical part started,” she said. “And they tried to pull me back into the house and keep me from leaving. My dad restrained me on the floor and my mom walking in from the kitchen holding a rope.”

Another pregnant woman and her baby fall victim to abortion related crime.

This time in America a man tried to abort his girlfriends twin babies by secretly giving her the RU 486 abortion drug.

Abortion Related Violence.

As you can see from some of the previous stories on this blog there is a concerning amount of violence perpetrated against Pro Lifers which is under reported in the media and often ignored by the authorities.

Any stories readers have about incidents of violence against Pro Lifers would be of great interest to Hidden Ireland. We are keen to cover any such matters, as we have done with the attack on Precious Life leader Bernie Smyth by the Police and also attacks on Youth Defence.

You can see a report I discovered from 1995 done by the Life Research Institute in America detailing the truth behind the myth that Pro Lifers are violent (or “vicious” as Anna Lo puts it). This reports shows, obviously, that those who are killing the babies day in and day out are more prone to commit violence and crime.

Note how prevelant the action taken by pro abortion activists is of kicking the signs held by the pro life activists. I am told this happens to Precious Life frequently at the Brook Cantre in Belfast. The Brook Centre staff seem to particullarly hate the signs showing the aborted babies and make a habit of kicking them on their way into the “slaughter house referral centre”!

The truth is hard to take I suppose……..
Abortion Related Violence report from USA 1995

Mexico City sinks further into the mire.

After the shocking news earlier in the year that Mexico City had legalised abortion, now comes the news that Euthanasia will follow.

Another crime against a pregnant woman who refused to abort her child.

A Chinese man has been sentanced to death for trying to kill his pregnant girlfriend by burning her and her unborn child. The girl suffered severe burns after refusing to abort her six month old unborn child after it was discovered she was carrying a girl.

This terrible practice of abortion is truly awfull and leads to more and more crime against preganant women and the unborn in countries where abortion is legal.

The philosophy is simple, you can get rid of an unwanted pregnancy, seeing as half of a “pregnancy” is the woman, the next step is to get rid of an unwanted pregnant woman.

Henry Hyde – Obituary

Henry Hyde, great Catholic Pro Life advocate and Congressman , died on the morning of the 27th November 2007. Please pray for his soul.

Henry Hyde tirelessly spoke on behalf of the Unborn Child and used his good office to protect then to the best of his ability.

Speaking of the failure of many in the Catholic hierarchy to speak up clearly against abortion and condemn so called Catholic politicians who were abortion advocates he said to the Chicgo Sun TImes in 1994:

“I am greatly disappointed with the failure of much of the church hierarchy to take an unequivocal stand on abortion.” Speaking of the tendency to equate issues such as poverty and healthcare and abortion, Hyde said it provides, “people like Ted Kennedy, Dick Durbin and John Kerry the cover they seek to maintain their Catholic affiliation and at the same time pander to Planned Parenthood.”“If the church doesn`t come out strong and condemn those who want to receive Holy Communion while not in the state of sanctifying grace, then the church has lost its moral authority, and that is tragic,” he concluded.
