Sinn Fein agree with abortion in cases of rape and abuse and other situations, and, further, do not think abortion should be a criminal offence. Also Sinn Fein are the only party not to have a member in the recently set up All Party Pro Life Group.
When I read about Mr McGuinness, the Norths Deputy First Minister, attending the Vatican as part of the delegation supporting Cardinal Brady on Saturday 24th November, it reminded me of this previous post CLICK HERE. (Pro-choice Catholics, not just Catholic politicians, must not receive Communion if they knowingly support legalized abortion says an American Catholic bishop.)
And also this Lifesite report Click Here. (Pope Supports Excommunication for Pro-Abortion Politicians – “Incompatible with Receiving Communion”)
Well, has Mr McGuinness split with the Sinn Fein policy on abortion and realigned with the Catholic Church? Let us know we are all agog……………………………………………

London Catholic Hospital Honors Bishop’s Request to Cease Abortion Referrals
reports Lifesite News (Click Here for full story)
After an investigation by Lord Brennan, at the behest of Cardinal Cormac Murphy O’Connor it became clear that the St John and St Elizabeth Hospital was referring for abortions and dispensing the abortificient Morning After Pill.
The hospital has agreed to stop these practices and act in line with Catholic principle. It just happens to be the best hospital in London, no doubt because it was never steeped in the abortion mindset that is rife now in England.
Some abortion promoters on the hospitals board are to resign over the decision to back down to the Cardinals request. Boo Hoo.

In Spain illegal abortion is becoming a real problem. It has long been understood that full term abortions are available in Spain since they relaxed the abortion laws under the Socialist government. However there is supposed to be a limit of 22 weeks. This limit is being regularly breeched and one undercover reporter was ablle to book an appointment for an abortion at 30 weeks gestation.
It is interesting that the grounds for abortion are “physical and mental health, rape and abnormality”. Since the rape ground is so rarely used and foetal abnormality is also limited, most abortions must be done on the physical and mental health grounds. These are the same grounds as the Abortion Guidelines in the North od Ireland were erroneously based around. One of the allegations which was levelled at these guidelines was that they would lead to abortion on demmand. How true in the case of Spain.
It also seems to fly in the face of the ridiculous claims made in the WHO report that where abortion is legal there is LESS abortion! Obviously blood will have blood, once you can kill one person you can kill anyone.

Meanwhile in the North of Ireland a Senior Midwife, Breedagh Hughes, has been reported to the police for illegal abortion and child destruction. These crimes were exposed in a full confession by Hughes to The Times newspaper. Click Here.

The Irish News today reports that Alliance Party members Anna Lo and Naiomi Long both supported the Draft Abortion Guidelines issued by the Department of Health (NI) despite the serious legal flaws contained in them.
Although Naiomi Long tries to suggest she is against abortion, and therefore has a different view than her party colleague, Anna Lo, she goes on to say she “voted pro choice” in the recent Stormont vote on the 22nd October.
The Pro Life motion in Stormont was tabled by two members of the DUP and supported by the SDLP and Sinn Fein. The Assembly voted by a majority to reject the Abortion Guidelines as legally flawed and an attempt to liberalise the abortion law in Northern Irlenad by misrepresenting the law.
Anna Lo is boldly pro abortion and calls pro lifers “vicious”. Although she does not give any evidence of exactly how they are “vicious” it might occur to most people, as it occurs to this writer, that the practice of tearing a child from its mothers womb with the intention of killing it is in fact the “vicious” act.
Catholics have been warned by the Church repeatedly that they MUST NOT VOTE FOR POLITICIANS WHO SUPPORT ABORTION.
Therefore is is of great benefit to see that those who would be supportinve of abortion are exposing themselves in this way. It saves everyone else a lot of time and effort.

KNOW THE MESSAGE OF FATIMA. OUR QUEEN HAS SPOKEN!
Father Gruner gave a wonderful talk in the Broomhill Hotel, Derry last night (16th November). He was on a tour around Ireland with the LOVELY Fatima Pligrim Statue of Our Lady. As we listened to the talk we could not take our eyes off the beautiful statue of the Virgin.
Today he was in Enniskillen and on Sunday the tour ends at Knock. There will be Mass at the parish Church at 1pm and Rosary and talks following at St Johns Rest and Care Centre on Shrine property.
You really should not miss this event if you can help it. Father Gruner is founder and Director of the International Fatima Rosary Crusade (with the permission of his authorities) and publishes the Fatima Crusader, he is the leading expert on Fatima and is truly a Holy Priest who loves Our Lady. He speaks slowly and clearly, wearing the proper priestly cassock, he srtikes a humble and boyish figure, especially kneeling before Our Lady. What was apparent to ths observer was not only that he loved Her, Our Queen, but that She loved him, Her child.
Accompanying him is Mr John Vennari, the editor of the Catholic Family News. Also a great speaker, very easy to listen to and very astute.
There is loads to learn and lots of great literature.
“A life founded upon truth is unshakable. Only a loss of the truth can make us tremble. The Patriarchs and the prophets trembled at the thought of losing God, of not fearing Him enough, of not Serving Him enough, they trembled also at seeing His truth denied. Their spiritual children, the Saints of the Church, in defense of His truth, strode singing into blood drenched arenas, bowed gracefully to the headmad’s axe, skipped up the steps to the guillotine, chanted His praises before firing squads…………” (from Fatima Priest by Francis Alban and Christopher Ferrara)
Have I said enough……!
Immaculate Heart of Mary Pray for Us.

Know that the Vatican has not released the whole of the Third Secret! Find out the truth and hear the evidence! Ask for yourself, “What was Our Ladys message to me?”

Well into the peace process in the North of Ireland and all seemed fairly quite. Then news broke that a Catholic poilceman had been shot and injured after dropping his child of at school. The man managed to drive to the nearest police station to raise the alarm despite suffering facial injuries from the attempt on his life. It was widely assumed that he was targeted because he was a Catholic and had joined the Police Service of Northern Ireland, which replaced the old RUC, as part a a recruitment drive to encourge Catholics to join the police. Dissident Republicans, The Real IRA claimed responsibility.
It was news we had got used to not hearing.
Still the mood was palpably worse when the following week, the 11th November, another policeman, again off duty , was shot and wounded. This time the attack was in Dungannon, again a predominently Catholic town. There was a real feeling of fear as this news broke, despite the several reasurances that the Real IRA was small, badly organised and not well supported. It had been known that Sinn Fein had lost much support since its change in stance over policing earlier in the year, but it is true to say these shootings came a shock, even though an observer of events might have said it was inevitable that some backlash was to be expected.
It says something of the nature of these shootings that they created a bigger feeling of concern that the killing on the 21st October of a 21 year old by an organised gang. Paul Quinn was beated to death in an horrific attack after being lured to a remote farmhouse by his assailants. It was later claimed by his family that it was the Provisional IRA who had sanctioned the beating. A row ensued with Sinn Fein denying “any Republican involvement” and ex Sinn Fein members siding with the family to state their belief that the PIRA was indeed responsible.
Even during the peace process their was an imunity to the attacks and killings levelled at people, mainly young men, in their communities. Unfair, but true. Yet the shooting of police officers was too bold a signal and too clear a reminder that trouble was not far away.
Pundits are saying that it is old elements of the IRA, disenfranchised by the recent moves made by Sinn Fein, who have gone on to commit these acts. However one of the witnesses of the second shooting saw a “young man” running for his life away from the scene. As the PIRA have not been officially active for some years it seems more likely that this gunman is no veteran, but rather a new breed. A child of a society where we are hardened to the murders of young men like Quinn for stepping on the wrong toes. A generation who has been taught to hate the police and then told, in the course of one day, to accept them.
The revolutionaries of yesterday have borne the revolutionaries of today. What they are fighting for we dont know yet, and perhaps neither do they. If they are looking for a return to a United Ireland then they would be better to turn back to their Faith, so boldly rejected by their mentors, and discard their guns.

In Louisville, Kentucky, Archbishop Joseph Kurtz joined anti-abortion protesters outside and abortion clinic. The Archbishop stayed for an hourand a half leading the crowd in the Rosary and prayers.
If only all the Princes of the church were so bold in their stance against abortion.

Recently the fpa(NI), abortion promoters and referral agency for abortion in Northern Ireland, has been moving out of its office on Universty Street. They are accepting no appointments telling women who call to “go and see their doctor” if they think they are pregnant.
It is unclear if they are just moving offices or if they are leaving for good.
Audrey Simpson is the Director of the fpa(NI) and also a member of the Equality Commission (no equality for the unborn then). She stated in 1998, referring to pro lifers,
“they are still picketing it, on the basis that they think Brook does abortion referrals. In fact Brook doesn’t do this – they give out the FPA number, and we do the referrals.” (CLICK HERE FOR FULL STORY)
It is of course illegal to refer for abortion in Northern Ireland under the Offences Against the Person Act 1861.
Maybe the fpa(NI) is going “on the run”?

On the 2nd of November 2007 there was the historic launch of the All Party Pro Life Group at Stormont. All the main partys (exept Sinn Fein) and independants such as Dr Keiran Deeny MLA were represented.
The keynote speaker at the launch was Dr Alveda King, the neice of the late slain Martin Luther King, American Civil Rights activist. Dr King is the spokeswomen for Silent No More, representing women who have had an abortion and regretted their action. Dr King draws a direct link between the high rate of black crime in America to the fact that the black population in America has been particullarly targetted by the abortion industry. She feels that the message given to blacks is that you can solve your problems by violence, and this stems from the abortion culture.
Also speaking was Dr Casey from Dublin, on issues of psychology and Mrs Higgins LLB on the criminal law surrounding abortion. The final speaker was Mrs Bernadette Smyth, who gave a moving talk on the personal reasons she must fight for the unborn, “this is my brother”, she says holding up a tiny model of a child at 4 weeks gestation.
Mr Donaldson and Mr Ramsey co-hosted the event which was attended by MLAs, doctors and lawyers and also the Catholic Bishops representitive.
The event was moving and uplifting. The message was clear, no abortion here.
The media coverage, was as always, abysmal.
