This is the man who wants to force abortion on the children of Ireland

News from Precious Life and SPUC relates that MArtin Salter MP and a cohort of Pro Abortion Westminster MPs are still intent on forcing the 1967 Abortion Act on Ireland. Despite massive and continuous resistance to this Act, and to abortion, the forces behind the abortion machine still persist.

Its quite obvious from a little research on Salter, pictured above (sleeping during the debate on the new speaker) and below, that he is probably incapable of an individual thought. One can only presume then that he is the monkey, so who exactly is the organ grinder?

10 / 07 / 2009 – Pro-abortion MPs in Westminster to debate “Abortion law in Northern Ireland”

Pro-abortion MPs in Westminster will hold a debate on “Abortion law in Northern Ireland” on Wednesday 15th July

The ‘Westminster Hall debate’ [1] has been initiated by Labour MP Martin Salter.

Martin Salter recently tabled an ‘Early Day Motion’ [2] regarding abortion law in Northern Ireland, where he welcomed the screening at Westminster of an abortion propaganda film funded by the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) – the largest promoter of abortion in the world – and the FPA – a member of IPPF

Commenting on Martin Salter’s motion and debate, the Director of Precious Life, Bernadette Smyth said “Less than a week ago, thousands, including people from all across Northern Ireland, marched in the Rally for Life in Dublin to show their opposition to abortion. Last October, thousands of people attended our Rally For Life in Belfast to stand united with our politicians and churches in opposing abortion. Northern Ireland is constantly sending out a clear message that we do not want abortion imposed on us from Westminster. We want our unborn children and their mothers to remain protected from abortion.

She added, “It‘s no coincidence that this debate will take place in the week that is the traditional holiday period in Northern Ireland. I believe these pro-abortion MPs deliberately chose this time so as to minimise the possibility of participation by Northern Ireland’s pro-life MPs.”

Bernadette Smyth concluded, “These pro-abortion MPs are still arrogantly ignoring the clear pro-life message from our politicians, church leaders, and our people. Once again, my message to Martin Salter and his abortion cohorts is `butt out` of Northern Ireland and stop interfering in our laws that protect our unborn children.”

Pro-life Leaders Face Death Threats, Require Protection from Abortion Rights Radicals

June 19, 2009 · 1 Comment

Lifesite carries the story of leading prolife American activists who have recieved death threats after the Tiller killing.

Frankly, this is not surprising given the death instinct of pro abortion activists. However the media must take much of the blame for its coverage of the tiller killing. Before motive or any fact was ascertained the media was reporting that the murderer was a “pro lifer”. Usually when someone is murdered (unless he is an unborn child) there is a an investigation before comment is made on the motivation of the killer. Sometimes, although the media is not often aware of this, there is also something called a “right to jury trial” and a presumption of “innocence untill proven guilty”.

To date no one really knows why the perpetrator of  Tiller’s killing acted, if he was insane or what exactly was his motivation. I suppose the presumption that Tiller was murdered because he was a late term abortionist is the most credible one, still it’s strange that the pro aborts are so in unison on this being a credible motive.

Catholics Cannot Vote For Pro Abortion Bairbre de Brun as MEP.

June 1, 2009 · 1 Comment

Mrs Bairbre de Brun is standing as the Sinn Fein candidate for the European Parliament. However , like her colleague, Mrs Mary Lou McDonald, Mrs de Brun is a supporter of abortion rights.

In the most recent example of this Mrs de Brun voted for extensive abortion rights, packaged in the term “Reproductive Rights” in the far reaching proposals of the Catonia Report.

Mrs de Brun who supports abortion rights. Click here to see the sort of proceedures that Mrs de Brun has voted in favour of.

A potential victim of abortion rights.

The Pope has spoken out against Catholic politicians who support abortion. They sould not recieve Holy Communion and they may be excommunicted.

Catholics should inform themselves of their politicians views BEFORE voting. It is our duty. Even if we agree with other issues which the politician stands for we should not and cannot in moral conscience vote for someone who will promote and support the violation and dismemberment of innocent life. It is a mortal sin and we will all be judged.

Precious Life have put together a voting guide on who is pro life and who is pro abortion. Check this and ask questions before casting your vote.

From Catholic Morality

III  What are the duties of government and legislators towards the innocent and especially towards the unborn?

“Governments and legislatures must remember that it is the duty of public authority to protect the lives of the innocent by appropriate laws and penalties, especially when those whose lives are attacked and endangered are unable to protect themselves, as is particularly the case with infants in their mother’s womb.  If the State authorities not only fail to protect these little ones but by their laws and decrees, suffer them to be killed, and even deliver them into vourthe hands of doctors and others for that purpose, let them remember that God is the Judge and Avenger of the innocent blood that cries from earth to heaven.”  Pius XI, Encyclical ‘Casti Connubii,’ Dec. 31, 1930. Abortionist Murdered

May 31, 2009 · 3 Comments

Tiller, late term abortionist, was shot dead in church.

I am sure the perpetrator of this murder will face justice. Today Mr Tiller will also face justice. May God have mercy on his soul.

“I have held thee in the palm of my hand”  Issiah

Although many groups, pro abortion and pro life have condemed this killing no facts are yet known about the motive. The man being held is not a member of a pro life group.

In a just society Tiller would have been tried long ago for his barbaric crimes against unborn children and recieved the death penalty.

We do not live in a just society and the scandal of abortion and all ascociated violence continues.

Anencephalic Baby Thriving. Follow the story on mothers blog….

May 23, 2009 · 2 Comments

Here is a lovely story.

Faith has anencephaly but has been astounding doctors and confounding medical prognosis since birth.

http://babyfaithhope.blogspot.com/

May God Bless this little child.

The most important thing for any little baby, especially ones who are ill or have a short life expectancy is that they be baptised.

This is the greatest gift we can give our children, even those who are only with us a short time. We can be assured they will then enter Heaven and be with the Blessed Lord and Our Lady. Also we can pray to them and look forward to seeing them again. A great comfort.

Socialist Anti Catholic Journalist Suzanne Breen Calls for the Catholic Church to be “Run out of town” after abuse report.

May 21, 2009 · 2 Comments

Breen rants on UTV News that the Pope is not welcome in Ireland.

Following the release of a report by a Commission into abuse in Catholic and Irish State Institutions the media has whipped up a frenzy of anti Catholic sentiments culminating last night in the journalist, Suzanne Breen, calling for our Church to be “run out of town.”

In a scene reminiscent of the anti clerical attacks on the Church in previous centuries, (Spain, France, Ireland) the UTV news descended into farce as two well known left wing journalists, including Breen, vented their spleen against the Church in the wake of the commission’s report which states that children were abused in institutions run by the Catholic Church in Ireland. Breen concluded by stating that the Pope would not be welcome in Ireland after the anouncement of a possible Papal visit.

Catholic priest and writer, the late Father Malichi Martin, was correct in fortelling that the world would use the scandal of abuse in the Church unleashed by the novelties of Vatican 11 as a whip to lash the Church.

We are to believe, if we listen to the news that every Priest, Nun, Bishop and infact the whole Church and all its institutions including Catholic lay people are to blame for this abuse. As pictures of Our Lord crucified and Our Lady weeping were flashed across TV screens to the sound of church music a plaitiff voice recited a litany of abuse including “strict discipline” and “authoritarian regimes” alongsinde sexual abuse.

The criminal activity of some of the clergy in the last forty years since Vatican 11 will now be used to try and crush the  Church in Ireland once again. Church detractors who have long since awaited this moment will wish us to feel collective guilt for the actions of some members of the clergy. However the commission of a sin or a crime is a matter for the individual. We are not expected to go into the confessional and confess the sins of others. We are only guilty of those sins we ourselves commit.

Why no prosecutions?

We learn from the secular news that there are however to be no prosecutions.  Anyone abusing children , especially those who commit sexual assaults on children should be prosecuted. The commission who wrote the report cannot restrict the proper process of the law. If there is evidence of the sort of criminal abuse listed in the news reports then the victims should take this to the police, whatever the report states. These matters and allegations should be aired in public courts where we can see the truth and the evidence of exactly what went on.

In the meantime it suits the media that no formal prosecutions will happen. They can pretend that as one journalist said last night “35 thousand poor souls” were affected by this abuse. They can also continue to lash the whole Church for the acts of some of its members.

Time for Conscilliar Church to admit complete failure.

Will the concilliar Church now take action and realise the complete failure of Vatican 11?  Will they in any way be able to console those who as children who were subjected to sexual assaults by rogue priests? The moderinst in the Church have had a free hand and have led us into this diabolical state. Innocent children have suffered unspeakable crimes at the hands of people who would never have been allowed near a seminary in previous days. The Church is weak and the attack will continue.

Turn back to the Traditional Church

In the meantime many Catholics worldwide have already seen the corruption of Vatican 11 and have turned back to Tradition. We pray for the Pope to consecrate Russia and the defeat of all communists within and outside the Church.

The Remnant On the Notre Dame Scandal..

May 20, 2009 · Leave a Comment

This article was sent to Hidden Ireland and is from The Remnant. A traditional Catholic paper.

The Wintertime of Vatican II

Notre Dame’s Scandal in Perspective

Michael J. Matt
Editor, The Remnant

(Posted 05/19/09 www.RemnantNewspaper.com) I write these words on May 17, 2009—a day that will surely go down in infamy in the annals of the once mighty Catholic Church in America. The springtime of Vatican II has obviously given way to darkest winter when Our Lady’s University in South Bend, Indiana, selects an ardently pro-abortion, pro stem-cell research, pro homosexual unions socialist for its commencement speaker. But this whole, sorry incident is indicative of a much greater catastrophe at the very heart of the Catholic Church.

Even after Archbishop Raymond Burke, a top ranking Vatican official, as well as nearly one hundred American bishops had objected to the public scandal at Notre Dame, President Barack Obama was still welcomed on campus where just the day before, priests had been dragged away in handcuffs for protesting the outrage. “Why is Notre Dame arresting Catholic priests”, Fr. Norman Weslin had asked campus police, “merely for trying to stop the killing of a little baby?” Why indeed! “Ave, Ave, Ave Maria,” the 80-year-old priest sang out as police shackled him like a common criminal.

Poor Father Weslin should have known that precious few at Notre Dame have the capacity to understand his words anymore. The Golden Domers have become sophisticated, and a ‘Hail Mary’ is a long pass in a football game!

Not only did Obama deliver the commencement address but he was interrupted by applause no less than 20 times. Afterwards, the most pro-abortion president in U.S. history was presented with an honorary degree by the president of Notre Dame, a ‘Catholic’ priest.

Clearly, the fort has been betrayed.

It was indeed wonderful to see so many American bishops finally objecting to something, but I suspect even most of them would admit that their protest was too little, too late. Forty years ago? Sure! Today? Not on your life! Modern bishops are supposed to be nice guys, ever ready for dialogue, big sports fans, maybe even pro-life.  But in all too many dioceses, Sister Mary Feminist runs the chancery and Father Phil Donahue heads up the university.  That’s just the way it is; and that’s the way it’s been for quite some time.

As Katie Walker pointed out in her column for the American Life League last week, this scandal is not without precedent. There’s an actual “timeline of dissent from Catholic teaching”, in fact, that “conservative” fans of the Fighting Irish have chosen to ignore for far too long.  After all, Notre Dame has one hell of a football program!

Never mind that in 1976 pro-abortion politician Walter Mondale was guest speaker at Notre Dame. No one seriously objected even when pro-abort Gov. Mario Cuomo spoke at the commencement at Notre Dame in 1984. In 1987, Miss Walker reminds her readers, theology professor Fr. Richard McCormick avowed support for in vitro fertilization at Notre Dame. In 1987 Notre Dame joined Fordham University, Boston College and Georgetown University in promoting condoms in defiance of Church teaching. In 1992 ND graduation ceremonies featured pro-abortion Sen. Daniel Patrick Moynihan. In 1995-96 the Core Council for Gay and Lesbian Students formed at Notre Dame.  From 2002 through 2008 the pornographic Vagina Monologues was performed on campus at Notre Dame despite opposition from Bishop John D’Arcy and Catholic bishops across the country.  In 2004 the Queer Film Festival took place at Notre Dame.  In 2006 ND’s commencement speaker was none other than President Mary McAleese of Ireland—a supporter of women’s ordination who was nevertheless given an honorary degree by Notre Dame. In 2006 Fr. Richard McBrien argued that it was morally justified to remove Terry Schiavo’s feeding tube.

Our Lady’s University? Please!

So let’s not be too hard on old Barack Obama—or Barry Soetero, or whoever he is—for this one. He is who he is, but it’s the ‘Catholics’ in charge of Notre Dame who should have been excommunicated years ago. These de facto apostates are the disease; commencement speaker Obama is a mere symptom.

And yet the Holy Father was here in America just one year ago speaking to educators from more than 200 Catholic colleges and universities in the U.S.—including Notre Dame. On that occasion he encouraged Catholic educators to “bear witness to hope. Nourish your witness with prayer. Account for the hope that characterizes your lives (cf. 1 Pet 3:15) by living the truth which you propose to your students. Help them to know and love the One you have encountered, whose truth and goodness you have experienced with joy.”

In light of today’s scandal at Notre Dame perhaps it would have been more advantageous to the Church in America had the Holy Father stayed in Rome last year and drawn up the necessary decrees of excommunication for half the ‘Catholic’ politicians in this country and most of the ‘Catholic’ university heads—starting, of course, with Father John Jenkins of Notre Dame!

What can be said about the modern Catholic Church when her own priests and bishops no longer pay the slightest heed to the words of the Holy Father, even when he travels all the way from Rome to speak to them? No wonder he’s so often reduced to making polite requests for toleration of Church teaching! Since Vatican II even the Roman Pontiffs have lost the authority to command even in the Church, much less outside of her walls. Collegiality has seen to it that they’re all equal, these shepherds of ours—so equal, in fact, that no one seems to be in charge.  As was displayed today at Notre Dame University, the leadership of the Catholic Church is in near total disarray.

Little apostates like John Jenkins have no fear of disciplinary action from their superiors even when making it clear to the Holy Father himself that they will not serve. Notre Dame is still ‘Catholic’, of course!, and will go on being ‘Catholic’ for years to come. Mustn’t let a little apostasy change that!

Meanwhile, the fans of the Fighting Irish will likely continue to express outrage over the Pope’s recent concessions to the “schismatic” Society of St. Pius X.  Real schism will be tolerated while the SSPX is blasted to kingdom come—even after the Pope himself lifted the excommunications of its bishops. When there cease to be consequences for schism in the Church, and when silence replaces the anathema even in the face of apostasy, should any of us be surprised when the few faithful Catholics left in America are carted off in handcuffs, ridiculed as “schismatics” or charged as “enemies of the state”?

As the Bride of Christ was scheduled to be scourged symbolically at Notre Dame, our Pope was in Israel, where he was expected to apologize—yet again—for all the “sins” of the Church in the past. He was expected to grovel. He was expected to join in the scourging of the Bride of Christ. And when he came up short of those expectations, he was ridiculed in the press. Citing Benedict’s alleged membership in the Hitler Youth, Knesset Speaker Reuven Rivlin berated the pope on Israeli Radio over his address at Israel’s Yad Vashem:

In the prayer he slotted into a stone crevice of the remnant of the Roman-era Jewish Temple complex, Pope Benedict mentioned in general terms “the suffering and the pain of all your people throughout the world” and called for peace in the Middle East.

Rivlin said that “with all due respect to the Holy See, we cannot ignore the burden he bears, as a young German who joined the Hitler Youth and as a person who joined Hitler’s army, which was an instrument in the extermination”.

http://in.news.yahoo.com/137/20090512/760/twl-pope-comes-under-criticism-in-israel.html

Pope Benedict’s enemies are legion, and not just outside the Vatican. In the wake of July 7, 2007, one can almost hear the whisperings inside the Vatican: “This has gone far enough! The ‘old man’ must be reined in for his own good and that of the whole Church. We need John Paul III”.

So the papal road shows are becoming all the rage once again.  Must keep the Pope busy, busy, busy.

Last year he came to America, and was reduced to practically begging Catholic universities to become Catholic again. Did they listen?  Ask Fr. Jenkins!

This year he went to Africa and spoke out against condoms. But while he was on the road, even “the Vatican”—meaning no doubt the Secretary of State—rejected his teaching:

The Pope initially told reporters flying with him to Cameroon that AIDS was “a tragedy that cannot be overcome by money alone, and that cannot be overcome through the distribution of condoms, which even aggravates the problems”.  But yesterday the Vatican website published an edited text changing his words to say that the use of condoms “risks” aggravating the problem.  Reporters who taped the Italian-language interview said the Pope, who speaks fluent Italian, did not say the word “risks” on Tuesday and he was unequivocal in saying that condoms aggravate the epidemic.

http://www.theaustralian.news.com.au/story/0,25197,25212024-2703,00.html

In other words, “the Vatican” got caught red handed editing the Pope. If they did it then how many times have they done it before or since?

Incredibly, even the Pope is not necessarily free to follow his own papal directives. Remember back in November of 2006 when the Holy Father made his wishes known (through a letter to the world’s bishops from Cardinal Francis Arinze, the Vatican’s Prefect of the Congregation for the Divine Worship) that the universal Church was to correctly translate ‘pro multis’ as ‘for many’ rather than ‘for all’ in the canon of all vernacular Masses? Whatever happened to that? Even in his own Masses the Holy Father is still using ‘for all’.

The Pope who is evidently “not allowed”  to correct errors in the Novus Ordo translations is also expected to grovel before non-Catholics the world over. “The good will be martyred, the Holy Father will have much to suffer, various nations will be annihilated,” Our Lady of Fatima predicted.  Well, here we are.

At the Church of the Annunciation in the Holy Land last week, an interreligious meeting was held between Catholics, Druzians, Jews, and Muslims. The Pope was present. The usual silly season nonsense about the world’s “great religions” being on the same road together, trying to “discover the truth” (as though the Truth hadn’t already been discovered two thousand and nine years ago!) was spouted by archbishops, rabbis and sheiks alike.

Muslims spoke with great pathos about getting along with the followers of “Jesus and the other great prophets”; the Holy Father encouraged those present to “continue exercising mutual respect as you work to ease tensions concerning places of worship, thus assuring a serene environment for prayer and reflection here and throughout Galilee.” And, all at once, a visibly agitated rabbi commandeered the podium at the end of the meeting and insisted that the representatives of the world’s “great religions” needed to pray together right then and there. “Shalom! Salaam! Lord, grant us peace! Dona Nobis Pacem!” he intoned, gesticulating around the room for all to join together in the singing—and praying?—of his little theological pop song.

On and on it went, “Shalom! Salaam! Lord, Grant us peace! Dona Nobis Pacem,” until finally the Pope began grinning almost embarrassedly. By the end of it, however, he was induced to hold hands with rabbis and sheiks, as the singer warbled on and on “Shalom! Salaam! Lord, Grant us peace! Dona Nobis Pacem.” All that was missing was a cameo from Oprah Winfrey!

As the world falls deeper and deeper into chaos and confusion one can’t help but wonder what the point of all this is anymore. Why must Christians, Jews and Muslims living in the real world endure such childish displays of hammed-up emotionalism? Are we actually to believe that folks in Gaza, Jerusalem, Bagdad or South Bend gave two hoots about that photo-op and the never ending “Shalom! Salaam! Lord, Grant us peace! Dona Nobis Pacem”?

The partition wall that rips through the heart of the Holy Land isn’t going anywhere. With Gaza still hemorrhaging, the Holy Land is likely to remain the Holy Landing Zone. Nothing will change despite “Shalom! Salaam! Lord, Grant us peace! Dona Nobis Pacem”.  So, what’s the point, other than to parade the apparent surrender of the human element of the Catholic Church—the only church ever to claim to be the only Church—before the whole world.

Far be it from us to dictate to the Holy Father what needs to be done, but we have now seen the abomination of Barack Obama standing in the holy place, telling the Catholic world that ‘little differences’ over partial-birth abortion should be laid on the altar of the God of Toleration. What is the answer to this abomination of desolation? “Shalom! Salaam! Lord, Grant us peace! Dona Nobis Pacem”?  Please!

If people who still have the capacity for rational thought would take President Obama’s glib-tongued, tele-prompted commencement address at Notre Dame and substitute the word “slavery” or “wife-beating” for “abortion,” they would realize just how intolerant Mr. Tolerance is—and just how intolerant our “religiously neutral” Western republics are.  Shall we dialogue about “our differences” and look for “common ground,” Mr. President, when it comes to slavery and wife-beating.

But the mass murder of unborn children has become a “dialogue point” at Notre Dame University, a matter on which reasonable people—even reasonable priests!—can agree to disagree, while the mass murder continues. That is the message sent by the Catholic Church in America to the whole world. That is the ultimate scandal. That is the white flag of surrender signaling the arrival of the winter of Vatican II.

Setting aside whatever positive developments may have transpired while the Holy Father was in the Holy Land (the plight of the Palestinians, for example, was given more media attention during his short visit than in the past five years), we humbly beg the Holy Father to usher in true Catholic restoration by staying in Rome and governing the Church from now on. Benedict did more for souls, Catholic identity, and world peace on July 7, 2007, than all the inter-religious meetings and papal globetrotting combined. And it was Summorum Pontificum, let’s not forget, that earned him the wrath of the world.

Before he left the Holy Land and after he’d been ridiculed in the press for not apologizing quite profusely enough for his youth, the “crimes” of his Church and the sheer dunderheadedness of his predecessors, the Holy Father delivered a sermon on his final day in the Holy Land which justified the hope faithful Catholics throughout the world have in him:

Following in the footsteps of the Apostle, I wish to proclaim anew, to the men and women of our time, the Church’s firm faith that Jesus Christ “was crucified, died and was buried”, and that “on the third day he rose from the dead”. Exalted at the right hand of the Father, he has sent us his Spirit for the forgiveness of sins. Apart from him, whom God has made Lord and Christ, “there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we are to be saved” (Acts 4:12).

Standing in this holy place, and pondering that wondrous event, how can we not be “cut to the heart” (Acts 2:37), like those who first heard Peter’s preaching on the day of Pentecost?

Here Christ died and rose, never to die again. Here the history of humanity was decisively changed. The long reign of sin and death was shattered by the triumph of obedience and life; the wood of the Cross lay bare the truth about good and evil; God’s judgment was passed on this world and the grace of the Holy Spirit was poured out upon humanity. Here Christ, the new Adam, taught us that evil never has the last word, that love is stronger than death, that our future, and the future of all humanity, lies in the hands of a faithful and provident God.

Pray earnestly for Pope Benedict. Is he conflicted to some extent?  It would seem so, as are we all. But powerful forces inside the Vatican and out are directing their considerable energies to the refashioning of the Holy Father in the spirit of the age. They’re even editing his teachings in order to make them less controversial. It would seem they’ve had enough of his Tradition-friendly reforms and, in the wake of the “last straw”— the Williamson affair—are doing all in their power to stop him from taking even one more step in the direction of Tradition.

Faithful Catholics must not bury their heads in the sand. The Church in the modern world does not need a rock star in Peter’s chair. She needs a priest, a holy man, perhaps even a martyr if there is to be any hope of true restoration.

  1. The Holy Father is not a young man. We must pray that he resists the wolves that surround him, that he stays in Rome, that he governs his Church, and that at long last he recognizes the tragic—but increasingly obvious!—failure of the Second Vatican Council to usher in a new springtime for the Church and “contemporary man.”

What happened this day at Notre Dame proves beyond any shadow of a doubt that the springtime of Vatican II has never materialized, and that the papal hope for such a springtime was perhaps the most inexplicable delusion in human history. Darkness has covered the earth and winter’s frozen embrace paralyzes the Church—in America and throughout the whole world.

God save the Pope.

Excellent Article On Obama at Notre Dame from Catholic Family News

Abortionist-in-Chief at Notre Dame

Obama, Notre Dame
and the Counter-Syllabus

by John Vennari

The grand moment finally arrived on May 17 when Notre Dame University President Father John Jenkins introduced Obama to the graduates. Barack turned on the charm and won them, hands down.
Obama, falsely presenting himself as the reasonable man in the middle, called for fair-mindedness. He urged a vigorous debate on the abortion issue, as if there could legitimately be two opposing views to God’s Commandment “Thou Shalt Not Kill”. Our Lord clearly said, “He who is not with Me is against Me.” Obama corrects Our Lord, warning Christ not to “reduce differing views to caricature”.
Obama cast himself as above the fray, counseling contenders on each side how to conduct the discussion with civility. This coming from one of the world’s most rabidly pro-abortion (and pro-homosexual) politicians was the height of hubris, hypocrisy and audacity. The graduates, blinded by idol worship and lack of Catholic formation, chanted “Yes We Can! Yes We Can!”. Empty slogans from empty minds.
Obama spoke the language of the post-Conciliar liberal Catholic: dialogue, common-ground, save the planet, Cardinal Bernardin a “saintly man”, the “golden rule” that runs through religions, and he was applauded by graduates of the premiere bastion of liberal Catholicism. He conformed perfectly to the de-educated monsters who are now the faculty and majority of graduates at Notre Dame.
Yet perhaps we should not be too censorious of the students, who have been betrayed by their Catholic leaders.
The scandal at Notre Dame is the effect of the diabolic disorientation of the upper hierarchy now the norm in the Church due to the Second Vatican Council. One cannot praise the Council as the “counter-syllabus” it truly was, and then complain of the disastrous effect that such a reverse necessarily produces.
This Modernist reverse encompasses the destruction of sound philosophy, the perversion of doctrine and the corruption of moral theology.[1] Anarchy now reigns to the point that the average Catholic university is a destroyer of the Faith rather than its guardian and advocate.
In 1960, when neo-Modernism was rising to the crescendo that would be the Council, the eminent American theologian Msgr. Joseph Clifford Fenton warned, “No one has ever been as well placed to harm the true Church and to counteract its essential work as a priest in good standing. If such a man, by his preaching, his teaching, or his writing, actually sets forth the kind of teaching condemned in the anti- Modernist documents Lamentabile sane exitu and Pascendi dominici gregis, or if he works to discredit the loyal defenders of Catholic dogma without receiving any repudiation or reproof from those to whom the apostolic deposit of divine revelation has been entrusted, the Catholic people are in grave danger of being deceived.” [2]
In the name of the Council’s aggiornamento, which effectively advanced the Modernist principle that a portion of Catholic doctrine can change over time,[3] priests and bishops have propounded teaching condemned by St. Pius X’s anti-Modernist documents, and have discredited loyal defenders of Catholic dogma. These priests and bishops have received no “repudiation or reproof from those to whom the apostolic deposit of divine revelation has been entrusted.”
The destruction of the Faith has taken place, and continues, by “priests in good standing”.
Thus, what the clear-sighted Msgr. Fenton predicted in 1960 has come to pass, though he may not have envisioned the massive number now deceived. Obama was enthroned in the once-holy place of Notre Dame because Modernism has been enthroned in the highest echelons of the Church for more than forty years, due to the Second Vatican Council.
The liberal Cardinal Suenens praised the Council as the “French Revolution of the Church”, and the second generation of that revolution has just graduated from Notre Dame chanting “Yes We Can!” to one of the most anti-Christ leaders on the planet.

Notes:

[1] Quick examples: In the realm of philosophy, Vatican II is the culmination of the movement of the anti-Thomist “New Theology” going on at least since the 1930s, and championed by liberal theologians such as Fathers Rahner, Chenu, Congar, Boulliard von Balthasar, de Lubac, and Ratzinger, all of whom (with the exception of van Balthasar and perhaps Boullliard) were the most influential periti at Vatican II. The proponents of the “New Theology” held that modern philosophical methods more relevant to “modern man” should replace scholasticism/Thomism as the basis of theology. This is reflected in the deliberate absence of scholastic language in the documents of Vatican II, and in the disappearance of scholasticism/Thomism as the backbone of philosophical formation in Catholic seminaries and universities. In the realm of doctrine, Cardinal’s Ratzinger’s praise of Vatican II as a “counter-syllabus [of Pius IX]” suffices for one of the various examples that could be sited. In the realm of morals, we saw the “equalization of the ends of marriage” that occurred in Paragraph 50 of Guadium et spes, a development lauded by the Protestant Observer Robert McAfee Brown. This part of Guadium et spes gave the impression that the Church no longer teaches the begetting and education of children as the primary end of marriage. This illicit twist is one of the main factors that launched the so-called “birth-control” debate inside the Church, and opened the door for corrupt moral “theologians” – all who continued their careers as “priests in good standing” — to justify all sorts of immoral and deviant sexual behavior, and to teach this “new approach” to college students.

[2]Sacrorum Antistitum and the Background of the Oath Against Modernism,” Msgr. Joseph Clifford Fenton, The American Ecclesiastical Review, October, 1960, p.246.

[3] Shortly after the Council, the anti-Modernist Oath was abolished. Our Church leaders who understood the full nature of Vatican II and its consequences were obviously aware they could not keep to the Council’s new direction, and simultaneously fulfill their solemn Oath before God (in the Oath Against Modernism) to teach the faith “in the same meaning and in the same explanation” as the Church has always held. Yet whether someone takes the Oath Against Modernism or not, Vatican Council I teaches infallibly the duty of the Catholic to hold to Catjholic doctrine “in one and the same doctrine, one in the same sense, and one in the same judgment:” as the Church always taught throughout the centuries. (Dei Filius, Vatican I). It is the nature of objective truth itself.

Pope refers to Fatima Apparitions on Palestine trip: Says Our Lady’s words: “in the end my Immaculate Heart will triumph”

May 19, 2009 · Leave a Comment

On 13th May, the aniversary of the Fatima apparitions the Pope made reference to Our Lady of Fatima in a speech at the Caritas Baby Hospital Bethlehem.

The international media will have missed the importance of this, but according to one traditional Catholic priest, this is the first time any Pope since Vatican 11 has publically referred to the words of Our Lady of Fatima to the three shepherd children.

Regarding Fatima the Pope said:

On this Feast of Our Lady of Fatima, I would like to conclude by invoking Mary’s intercession as I impart my Apostolic Blessing to the children and all of you. Let us pray:

Mary, Health of the Sick, Refuge of Sinners, Mother of the Redeemer: we join the many generations who have called you “Blessed”. Listen to your children as we call upon your name. You promised the three children of Fatima that “in the end, my Immaculate Heart will triumph”. May it be so! May love triumph over hatred, solidarity over division, and peace over every form of violence! May the love you bore your Son teach us to love God with all our heart, strength and soul. May the Almighty show us his mercy, strengthen us with his power, and fill us with every good thing (cf. Lk 1:46-56). We ask your Son Jesus to bless these children and all children who suffer throughout the world. May they receive health of body, strength of mind, and peace of soul. But most of all, may they know that they are loved with a love which knows no bounds or limits: the love of Christ which surpasses all understanding (cf. Eph 3:19). Amen.

To Catholics whis is a wonderful sign, especially from a concilliar Pope. Having released the Moto Proprio and then lifted the “excommunications” of the Bishops of the Society of  St Pius X, we now continue with the Rosary Crusade to implore the Blessed Virgin to intercede that this Pope may fulfill her wish as dictated at Fatima and consecrate Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

Priest Arrested at Notre Dame University for Protesting against Murder of Unborn Children.

May 18, 2009 · 14 Comments

An eighty year old Priest has been arrested for the crime of protesting at the so called “Catholic” university of Notre Dame in the USA. This Priest was protesting against abortion and the invitation issued to President Barack Obama , the most pro abortion President in the history of the USA (possibly the world?) to speak at Notre Dame and to recieve an Honourary Degree.

This is absolutely shocking footage and shows how low Americal has sunk. No protest will be allowed, no voice must be raised against the international child killers.

At least in Ireland we can still protest against the international forces of the Culture of Death. But for how long?

May the Pope consecrate Russia to the Immaculate heart of Mary soon and bring an end to this madness.

British Medical Journal Blogger, Iain Brassington, Finds Irish Catholics Amusing.

April 20, 2009 · 16 Comments

Covering the story of how euthanasia promoter, Prof Len Doyal, was prevented from speaking in Cork by Father Kramer and a large group of Catholic protestors Brassington, a blogger on the BMJ site, writes:

“The protesters apparently shouted obscenities and, er, the Rosary.”

This was coupled with the highly predictable picture of the characters from Father ted. (Funny how athiest liberals have so few ideas)

Brassington then put a pingback link to this blog. No doubt so we could see how hilarious the British medical ethics establishment find Ireland and our funny little religion. (God help English Cathlolics).

However when Hidden Ireland left a comment on Brassingtons blog about the terrible state of England and referred him to the article by American writer, Martin Newland,  “England is Rotting” it seemed to be deleted!

Seems, as usual, freedom of speech fro the English establishment is a one way street, “I speak, you listen”. I suppose that explains the G20 riots and the police brutality ( a well practiced British tactic used in N Ireland)

What I found most hilarious about Brassington, and here he concurs with me, was his own biography, which I have reprinted below, for the craic:

“Iain is a lecturer in Bioethics at the Centre for Social Ethics and Policy, in the Law school at Manchester.  His background is philosophical.  (When he found himself teaching law at a medical school a few years ago, having no experience in either field, he thought that hilarious… and scary.)  He’s taught at Keele, Birmingham, and Warwick (a bit), and has also been a schoolteacher, barman, lorry-driver and private tutor in his time.”

I mean, what a jape, a non lawyer and non doctor teaching law at a medical school! And now the same chap teaches ethics at a Law school! Will this hilarity never cease?

(Strange also that he uses an adjective, “philosophical” to describe his academic acheivements!)

However this man obviously is not versed in the metaphysics of St Thomas and all we can really do for him, and England, which is the Dowry of Our Lady, is pray the Rosary. Our weapon and our protection.

April 17, 2009 · 5 Comments

Go to this link to see an exclusive interview in the American paper, Catholic Family News, with Father Kramer, the Catholic Priest who confronted Profesor Len Doyal, an involuntary euthanasia advocate, in Cork University Hospital. Doyal was sent packing and thankfully will not be returning to Ireland.

Catholic action! Bravo Father Kramer!

Only the Catholic Church has the power to send these little devils running as we can see from the excellent example of this priest and the laity who were saying the Rosary and singing marian Hymns.

Our Lady Sends Euthanasia Speaker Running From Cork University Hospital.

April 11, 2009 · 22 Comments

Thanks to Thought And Action blog for the following story:

“As many are now aware the lecture did not take place and this vile proponent of both voluntary and involuntary euthanasia, Professor Len Doyal saw first hand in Cork that he and others like Dr Deirdre Madden will not foist their euthanasia and eugenics agenda in Ireland. Through the Grace of God and by the Grace of God, Doyal was sent packing with his tail between his legs. His lecture was cancelled.

Some might argue let us debate the “issue”. Euthanasia like abortion is not a matter for debate and the Irish people will not tolerate this. Many thanks to the various groups like Youth Defence and Mother & Child Campaign, who came along and organised the protest. Thanks also to those groups and individuals inside who were able to confront him at the podium and get him out. In other countries people would of tolerated this type of speaker and have let the Masons grip their country. The Irish people are a great people.. This was one of the best things that happened in Ireland in a long time.

Many of the Irish newspapers carried the news item. See below.
Congratulations to all involved in Thursdays actions.”

Euthanasia lecture cancelled

A controversial public lecture on euthanasia has been cancelled minutes after it began when a group of over 20 protestors disrupted it.

The guest speaker Prof Len Doyal, an open proponent of both voluntary and non-voluntary euthanasia, had to be escorted from the lecture theatre at Cork University Hospital by security staff.

The lecture entitled ‘Why Euthanaia should be legalised’, formed part of the annual spring series organized by CUH’s Ethics Forum and started at 5pm.

As the 350 attendees were being welcomed, a group of over 20 people stood up and began shouting.

Witnesses say some began saying the rosary and one man accused Prof Doyal of being a murderer.

A decision was taken soon afterwards to cancel the lecture on public safety grounds but it took some time to get the message through to the audience because of the continuing strong vocal opposition by protestors.

Afterwards a spokeswoman for the HSE expressed disappointment that the annual lecture series which is held to stimulate debate was forced to be cancelled.

She stressed that the lecture series is not funded by the HSE but privately by the hospital’s Ethics Forum and that neither the HSE or CUH or the Ethics Forum are in favour of euthanasia.

Earlier, a group of about 20 people protested peacefully at the entrance to the hospital.

The lecture has been a source of controversy for a number of weeks.

A SPEECH by a proponent of euthanasia was called off at Cork University Hospital (CUH) yesterday after protesters voiced their opposition.

Prof Len Doyal, a supporter of euthanasia and emeritus professor of medical ethics at the London School of Medicine and Dentistry and St Bartholomew’s Hospital, was due to address an audience at CUH as part of a lecture series organised by the hospital’s ethics committee.

More than 100 protesters lined the entrance to the hospital and the auditorium as part of a peaceful demonstration against the content of the lecture.

Ethics committee chairman Prof Eamonn Quigley introduced Prof Doyal, but was interrupted by a protester who approached the podium and demanded the lecture be halted, branding the content “murderous”. The lecture was promptly cancelled and Prof Doyal was escorted from the auditorium by hospital security personnel.

Speaking to The Irish Times , last night, Prof Doyal described the experience as “disturbing and distressing”.

He said: “There was no intent on my part to give a lecture and leave, the whole point was that it should be a debate . . . with people free to disagree with me as part of a discussion . . .What is most disturbing is what this means for free speech, which is also upheld in your constitution.”

Health Service Executive (HSE) spokeswoman Christine Eckersley said the lecture was cancelled in the interests of public safety. However, protesters denied there was any threat to public safety.

“The HSE will make us out to be religious zealots but we are not. We are all individual protesters here,” said anti-euthanasia protester Margaret Hurley, from Bishopstown in Cork.

Outside the hospital entrance, protester Moira O’Regan, from Cork, said she was present as a voice for elderly people: “This lecture has nothing to do with providing care for people.”

A spokeswoman for the HSE said: “The hospital fully appreciates that this is a very sensitive topic for many groups and individuals and is aware of the potential for misunderstanding which the title of the lecture may convey, but would again categorically state that CUH does not support euthanasia.”

Rosary-chanting protesters force euthanasia talk to be abandoned
http://www.independent.ie/national-news/ro…ed-1705229.html
QUOTE

A CONTROVERSIAL euthanasia lecture was abandoned amid chaotic scenes last night while a senior British medical ethics expert had a private security escort for his own protection.

Prof Len Doyal was visibly shaken after his lecture on euthanasia couldn’t even commence after he was heckled and jeered by more than 20 angry pro-life protesters who had taken up position in the Cork University Hospital (CUH) lecture theatre.

Protesters, some from the right-wing Youth Defence group, shouted that euthanasia was State-sponsored murder — and dozens began loudly chanting the Rosary.

At one point, a protester shouted abuse directly into Prof Doyal’s face. All efforts to introduce Prof Doyal for his lecture were drowned out by shouts and jeers.

Gardai were called to the scene but, a despite a heavy presence of officers, they did not intervene. Emptying the lecture theatre was ultimately left to hospital security guards.

The lecture was eventually cancelled — with Prof Doyal escorted out by hospital security personnel for his own safety.

As he left, the respected British medical expert challenged the protesters over the right to free speech — with dozens of people who attended the theatre also complaining about their activities.

One eye-witness described the scene as “absolutely unbelievable” and “very highly charged”.

The lecture sparked national controversy when the Bishop of Cork & Ross, Dr John Buckley, slated euthanasia or the voluntary ending of life as wrong, saying: “The Lord alone is the giver of life and He alone has the right to decide when that life should end.”

Ireland South MEP Kathy Sinnott (Independent) expressed outrage that the Health Service Executive (HSE) should have facilitated the CUH lecture.

Demonstrations outside CUH were mounted last night by Youth Defence and the Mother & Child Campaign. The controversy over the CUH lecture even reached the Seanad, with Senator David Norris accusing Senator Jim Walsh of “scaremongering”.

Senator Walsh had said the CUH debate was both scandalous and deplorable.

“I am sure it (the euthanasia debate) will scare every patient in nursing homes throughout the country. It is scandalous and deplorable,” he warned.

Sen Norris said such comments were “a disgrace” and “a shame on the senator.”

Yesterday, such was the volume of queries over the lecture that the HSE had a recorded message on its telephone system — stressing that neither the speaker nor the theme reflected the views or policies of the HSE, the hospital or its ethics forum.

CUH Ethics Forum Chairman, Dr Fergus Walsh, said: “We only wish to promote an active discussion about this controversial subject.”

ORGANISERS of a controversial HSE euthanasia lecture were forced to leave surrounded by security just seconds into the high-profile debate, after a barrage of verbal threats from protesters accusing them of taking “30 pieces of silver” to endorse “murder”.

The ‘Why euthanasia should be legalised’ public lecture by Prof Len Doyal, an international advocate of the issue and emeritus professor of medical ethics at the London School of Medicine and Dentistry, was due to begin at 5pm yesterday in the main auditorium of Cork University Hospital (CUH).

But just 20 seconds into the opening address by the hospital’s ethics forum chair Prof Eamon Quigley, the lecture — which was not based on any future policy changes — descended into a farce.

To calls of “murder is murder”, “this is how Hitler started”, Hail Mary prayers, and calls that “only God has the right to take a life”, up to 50 protesters repeatedly verbally threatened Prof Quigley and other organisers, forcing the chair of the lecture to call for security seconds into his address.

Three security staff subsequently entered the room in an attempt to quell the abuse. Despite their presence the insults continued for more than 20 minutes, at one stage leading to a personal verbal attack on stem cell advocate Prof Deirdre Madden who was forced to leave her seat in the crowd.

Moments before gardaí arrived, one protester took over the podium to accuse CUH of selling out the “sick and old” people of Ireland.

“I have 30 pieces of silver to give to the ethics committee on behalf of these people. That’s very significant because Judas took 30 pieces of silver. They are selling out the sick and the old, and what I would say is that this ethics committee has no ethics at all. Who would hold a meeting on Holy Thursday in Catholic Ireland to murder people?” he said.

‘Excuse me… You’re talking about the killing of patients. Get out’

YOU walk into a room and search for somewhere to sit. It’s crowded but luckily a single chair is still free, next to what appears to be a respectable grandmother.

She seems to fit perfectly into a Werther’s Original sweets advert family and smiles as you sit down, before slowly reaching to move her dainty handbag out of the way.

And then it begins.

“MURDERER”, she yells at the startled speaker.

“This is how Hitler started, what gives you the right? MURDERER.”

The speaker’s gone white with fear; you’ve gone red with embarrassment and prepare to make your escape to somewhere — anywhere — else in the room.

But its too late, the insults have spread like wildfire.

Grannies who outside shared a nice cup of tea are bashing bibles to the tune of Hail Mary hymns.

Grandads are approaching the podium armed with their version of the Constitution and waving 30 pieces of silver at people they insist have sold out patients by endorsing the killing of the old and the ill.

And young people in their 20s and 30s are shooting down free speech with the accuracy of a sniper. It all seems so unusual on the grounds of a hospital until you’re told the subject matter at the heart of the verbal bloodbath: euthanasia.

Yesterday at Cork University Hospital a controversial discussion on the issue, organised by the HSE as part of the facility’s seventh annual ethics forum spring lecture, descended into an equally controversial shouting match, with dozens of protesters preventing the debate from taking place.

The HSE notices said the lecture would be “interactive”, did not mean a change in policy, and had the sole purpose of creating lively debate on the subject. On those grounds the 20 second discussion was an unqualified success.

Seconds into the opening address by ethics forum chair Prof Eamon Quigley — who was preparing to introduce guest lecture Prof Len Doyal, a supporter of euthanasia and emeritus professor of medical ethics at the London School of Medicine and Dentistry — he was stopped in his tracks. “Excuse me,” a protester interrupted while leaving his seat to confront his adversary at the podium.

“Leave. You know nothing about my constitution. Murder is murder. Murder is murder. You’re talking about the killing of patients. Get out,” he roared.

As security arrived on the scene to the backing song of hymns from protesters, the concerning scenes grew worse, with organisers of the debate and Prof Doyal leaving surrounded by security staff in order to protect their safety.

Perhaps surprised at their sudden success the protesters, grew more confident and turned their attention to other members of the medical elite who had also attended the now-cancelled lecture.

One protester, a middle-aged man, took over the microphone and, clutching 30 pieces of silver, asked any member of CUH to come up and collect their bribe. “Judas took 30 pieces of silver. They are selling out the sick and the old, and what I would say is that this ethics committee has no ethics at all. Who would hold a meeting on Holy Thursday in Catholic Ireland to murder people,” he said.

Those protesting have since been at pains to stress that their actions were “peaceful”.

They were in the sense that nobody was physically assaulted. But ask Prof Deirdre Madden, stem cell advocate and member of the Medical Council of Ireland, and she may disagree, being left with no option but to leave after being subjected to calls of “Madden has no right to take away a life” by people she felt may have had no right to threaten a woman’s safety.

The euthanasia debate had caused controversy ever since it became public knowledge earlier this year, with those opposed to it insisting publicising information about the topic had nobody’s interest at heart.

Ironically, after yesterday’s farce, a discussion on euthanasia in Ireland may be the only issue to have died.

The HSE said the discussion has been cancelled with no rescheduled date in place.

Hilary’s Heroine: “The most merciful thing that a family does to one of its infant members is to kill it.” `Birth control must lead ultimately to a cleaner race. Margaret Sanger, Woman, Morality, and Birth Control. New York: New York Publishing Company, 1922. Page 12.

In a speech to congress the Hon Chris Smith attacked Hilary Clinton who has said she was “in awe” of eugenisist Margaret Sanger.

Aluding to the fact that Hilary Clinton had been to see shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe before flying to Texas to recive an award from the International Planned Parenthood Federation, the spawn of Margaret Sanger, Chris Smith stated during his speech:

On the one hand, the miracle of Our Lady of
Guadalupe has for five centuries brought a message
of hope, faith, peace, reconciliation and protection for
the weakest, most vulnerable among us. On the other
hand, each year, Margaret Sanger’s Planned
Parenthood kills approximately 300,000 unborn baby
girls and boys in their abortion clinics scattered
throughout the United States.”

Later in his speech:

“Let’s be honest, Mr. Speaker. Abortion is violence
against children. It dismembers and chemically
poisons a child to death. It hurts women physically,
psychologically, and spiritually. There is nothing
whatsoever compassionate, benevolent, ennobling,
benign, or empowering about abortion. It is a
violation of a child’s fundamental human rights.”

The speech is worth reading in full, particularly for the quotes directly taken from Margaret Sangers work, revealing the vile mentality of the pro “family planning” and abortion community which flourishes in our ill world today.

Israeli Prime Minister apologises for horrible offences against Mary and Jesus shown on Israeli TV.

February 24, 2009 · 1 Comment

It is reported that the Israeli PM has been obliged to apologise for the terrible blasphemies agnst Our Lord and Our Lady which were shown on Israeli TV last week.

I will just check to see if the BBC is covering this story…………….

Nothing yet hum ho…………

Full report from Cathnews:

“Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert says he feels “regret, sorrow and disapproval” for a comedy show that mocked Christian theology after the Vatican denounced its portrayal of Jesus and Mary as “offensive”.Government spokesman Mark Regev said Olmert told ministers at the weekly Cabinet meeting the comedy segment was “in stark contrast” to good relations between Israel and Christians worldwide, the Jerusalem Post reports.

Broadcast recently on a late night show on Channel 10, the segment mocked the belief that Mary was a virgin and that Jesus walked on water.

The skit was a sarcastic response to the Vatican’s lifting of the excommuinication of SSPX Bishop Richard Williamson who denied the Holocaust took place.

The TV show host later apologised for causing offence.

Earlier, a Vatican press office communiqué noted Friday that Catholic leaders in the Holy Land “publicly expressed the disappointment and protest of Christians in regard to the recent broadcasts on Israeli private television Channel 10 in which the Lord Jesus and the Blessed Virgin Mary are ridiculed with blasphemous words and images.”

“Government officials, who were immediately contacted by the apostolic nuncio, promptly assured their intervention with the aim of stopping these broadcasts and obtaining public apologies from the station,” the Vatican statement said.

The Vatican also assured Holy Land Christians of its solidarity, affirming that the “vulgar and offensive act of intolerance of the religious sentiments of believers in Christ is deplored.”

The statement also noted “the very grave offence against the children of Israel, which Jesus and Mary of Nazareth were.”

Meanwhile, a group of Palestinian Christians has asked Pope Benedict to call off his planned visit to Israel and the West Bank this coming May, Haaretz says.

The 40 community activists wrote to the pope that his visit would “help boost Israel’s image and inadvertently minimise Palestinian suffering under Israeli occupation.”

The group urged the pope to link his visit to a series of Israeli measures, including improved access to Christian places of worship and halting taxation of church properties.”
